Microsoft Lures Away Apple Store Managers and Sales Staff

As it began preparation for opening its own retail Stores, Microsoft announced in July that it would actually be modeling its stores after Apple’s including  Windows 7, PCTV and Smartphone sections along the walls. In the center there will be tables with products on them labeled Learn, Connect and Info.

According to the Loop to whom this story was leaked,

Of course, Microsoft will also have a “Guru Bar,” modeled after the Apple Genius.

Now it has been reported that several Apple Store managers have been approached by Microsoft to abandon their jobs for the same but more lucrative jobs with  Microsoft Stores. Reports that offerings to pay moving expense for those willing to leave Apple have also been made.  Some of those new Microsoft employees have then purportedly called other Apple employees to offer them similar deals.
